A divine expression of the artisan’s devotion

Cast in gleaming brass, this exquisite sculpture of Lord Ganesha embodies divine craftsmanship and sacred symbolism. Every curve and contour are meticulously detailed—from the serene expression on His elephantine face to the delicate tracery of his crown, anklets, and ornaments. His trunk curls gracefully, often touching a Modak, symbolizing the sweetness of spiritual pursuit. This is not merely a statue—it is a living invocation of wisdom, remover of obstacles, and patron of auspicious beginnings.

The Form & Symbolism

The idol showcases Ganesha seated in a poised Lalit asana, His four arms bearing sacred symbols: the lotus of purity, the Modak of bliss, the axe of detachment, and the hand of protection. The lotus on Ganesha’s forehead as a small, stylized bloom represents detachment from material murk, just as the lotus rises unsullied from muddy waters. The trisula placed on Ganesha’s forehead with sharp, symmetrical prongs adding dynamism to the otherwise serene face represents Destruction of ego, ignorance, and fear

This exquisite small sculpture of Lord Ganesha is handcrafted by skilled artisans in India.

The detailing from the intricate carvings on his garments to the gentle expression on his face reflects the skill and dedication of the artisans who created it. The craftsmanship reflects deep reverence for the deity resulting in adding a divine aura to the space it is kept in.
